Our organically crafted Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil is steam distilled from the striking, rich wood of Cedrus deodara trees harvested wild in the forests of India. Our Himalayan Cedarwood Oil has an exceptional therapeutic capacity and a beautifully rounded appealing aroma, especially in its middle notes. Our special aging process brings a new level of warmth and complexity to the aroma and heightens the concentration of therapeutic components in the Deodar Cedarwood Oil.

The name deodara evolved from the Sanskrit word devadu0101ru, that translates to timber of the gods - thus the Himalayan Cedar is regarded as a particularly sacred tree in Hinduism. The sturdy, invulnerable Cedarwood deodara trees have been thought to be indestructible for centuries. These massive trees have not only survived, but managed to thrive for hundreds of years with an entire ecosystem supported beneath their feet and in their airy upper levels.

Himalayan Cedarwood Essential Oil has been used in medicines and cosmetics throughout the ages. This essential oil helps to manage minor pain and inflammation, especially relating to chronic pain and inflammation of arthritic joints. Cedarwood Oil is also an exquisite choice when looking to support healthy lungs and promote clear breathing. Owing to its anti-bacterial properties, this essential oil is also supportive when looking to reduce unwanted bacteria and viruses. Cedarwood Himalayan Oil also has an affinity to the hair and skin, it helps to removed lodged toxins in both and is a good cleanser and stimulant to adding back luster.

Emotionally and energetically, this gorgeously aromatic essential oil is grounding and calming. Cedarwood Himalayan Essential Oil also helps support an overtaxed nervous system and is incredibly stabilizing during stressful transitions.
