Our organically crafted Clary Sage Absolute, extracted from the pastel purple flowers and soft green leaves of the Salvia sclarea flowering shrub, has an extremely rich, sweet-herbaceous yet somewhat bitter-sweet, delicate woody, slightly floral aroma.

Clary Sage is also known by the names clear eye and eye bright because of its traditional use as a treatment for eye health. Long considered Woman's Oil, Clary Sage's benefits lie in its calming influence on the body and mind, along with supporting emotional and feminine functions.

REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES

This full bodied, brownish-green coloured, sumptuous absolute has a rich, herbal sweetness that provides a fuller body to colognes, fougeres, chypres, forest and coniferous notes and even floral fragrances. Clary Sage Absolute is an aroma that many find euphoric and is considered indispensible for health issues common to women.

Naturally containing the calming constituent Linalyl Acetate (the ester form of Linalool), Clary Sage Absolute is thought to produce feelings of lucidity, equanimity, and tranquility. It is also considered to be an aphrodisiac by some, and it may be helpful in sexual wellness applications.
