In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic situation, our supply chain has hugely been affected and we had to reduce our stocks of some of our products (particularly hydrosols and body butters). We will be back in stock with most of our products once things start getting back to normal. Apart from this, almost all of the essential oils, carrier oils and absolutes are in stock with us. We request your patience and understanding during these difficult times.

Our organically crafted Lemon Tea Tree Essential Oil is steam distilled from the wonderfully fragrant leaves of the Leptospermum petersonii tree native to Australia and cultivated in Southeast Asia, New Zealand, and parts of Africa. The essential oil has a powerful, sparkling, fresh, citrusy-sweet, lemony-herbaceous aroma with aldehydic, leafy heart notes.

Also known as the Lemon-Scented Tea Tree, Leptospermum petersonii is an attractive, smaller tree with very fragrant, lemony leaves that is sometimes also used and pruned as an ornamental tree or shrub. Although both Lemon Tea Tree and Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) share part of the common name and are members of the Myrtaceae family, they have distinctly different aromatherapeutic properties. In addition, Lemon Tea Tree is not related at all to Lemon (Citrus limon). It has a more pleasing aroma than Tea Tree and is often used interchangeably, though the chemistry differs between the two plants.

Both Tea Tree and Lemon Tea Tree leaves were used by Australian aboriginal tribes for open wounds. Freshly crushed leaves were applied directly to the skin, and held in place with a mudpack. Lemon Tea Tree Oil was also used extensively by the Maori people of New Zealand for burns, infections and other skin irritations.

Along with helping to support healthy lung and airway function, Lemon Tea Tree Essential Oil can help reduce the presence of unwelcome bacterial, fungal, or viral activity. Lemon Tea Tree Oil can also help soothe pain and inflammation, especially when dealing with chronic inflammation or muscle tension. It is known to have an extremely high Citral content, giving it remarkable germ busting capabilities and making it an excellent addition to DIY cleaning products. It is said to be one of the best essential oils for natural insect/mosquito repellants, either on its own or blended with Lemongrass, Patchouli, Lemon Eucalyptus, and other essential oils.

Lemon-Scented Tea Tree Essential Oil is an excellent natural antiseptic for skin infections. The oil immediately penetrates outer skin layers and mixes with body oils to treat such conditions as insect bites, cuts, burns, acne , infected wounds, bruises, and sunburn. Lemon Tea Tree Oil also has antimicrobial properties that destroy the bacteria on your skin that causes body odor.

Emotionally and energetically, Lemon-Scented Tea Tree Oil uplifts and calms. This essential oil brings mental clarity, strengthens confidence, and is highly motivating. Leptospermum Petersonii Oil refreshes the mind, body, and spirit, helping to reduce both emotional and physical fatigue.
