Our organically crafted Persian Lime Essential Oil, also called Tahiti Lime Essential Oil is cold pressed from the fresh, tart, green rinds of the Citrus latifolia fruits growing in the sunny-warm orchards of Mexican countryside. Our Persian/Tahiti Lime Essential Oil has a particularly bright, zesty, tart, slightly sweet aroma: excellent in natural perfumery and a truly fine Citrus!

Persian Limes are sweeter and larger than Key Limes (Citrus aurantifolia) and because of this have a larger share of the global fresh fruit market. Persian Limes are also greener than Key Limes, resulting in a different colour and odour of the finished oil.

REPORTED BENEFITS AND USES

Persian Lime Oil has been extensively used in the food and beverage industry, as well as in creating fragrances. This versatile citrus oil is also added to household cleaners, detergents, soaps, and other beauty products. Beyond Persian Lime's sweet and tart aroma, it can be applied topically to help skin irritations and insect bites. This citrus essential oil can help remove unwanted oil from the skin and help limit the effects of acne, when used at an appropriate dilution. Its tonic effect promotes a youthful appearance, and it can be helpful in lightening dark skin spots. Tahitian Lime Essential Oil can also be used for free and easy breathing, low energy, and can help improve vitality during the cold and flu season.

Tahiti Lime Oilu00a0is frequently used in aromatherapy as it is refreshing and stimulating and can be used for its cleansing properties. It may help ease situational anxiety and depression.
