Dongbaekin Korea and
Tsubaki(pronounced soo-baw-kee) in Japan. The camellia flowers are prized for their beauty, and vary in color from white, pink, red with plenty of variations in between.
Camellia japonica is the official state flower of Alabama and is also known as the
Rose of Winter as it blooms while there is snow on the ground. Tsubaki Oil has been a treasured beauty secret by Japanese women for their flawless porcelain-like skin and long, beautiful, shiny hair; yet its not well known in other areas of the world.
Camellia oil (Tsubaki Oil) is a versatile oil that can be used on the face, hair, scalp and body. Camellia Japonica Oil is a rich source of Oleic Acid (Omega 9) up to 80%, polyphenols, vitamins A, D, C, and E, and other antioxidants giving it excellent skin and hair moisturizing properties. Thanks to its unique composition this product has highly effective anti-oxidant and overall anti-aging properties.
Tsubaki (Dongbaek) Oil is known for its remarkable ability to retain moisture and penetrate into the deepest layers of the skin because its composition is similar to sebum; the oil naturally produced by human skin, delivering an immense amount of phytonutrients. Cameliia Japonica (Tsubaki) Oil hydrates and replenishes while infusing skin with powerful antioxidants to protect skin from free radical damage and the visible signs of aging. Dongbaek Oil contains high levels of essential fatty acids, which help replenish the skin's barrier and prevent water loss, protecting it from UV and environmental damage.
